Event Details:

❖ Frequency: The Financial Empowerment for Families program will take place twice a month, starting in January.

❖ Location: The sessions will be held at the Community Access Center 

❖ Format: Adults and youths will have separate sessions tailored to their respective needs and interests.

❖ Dinner: We are excited to provide dinner for all participants that attend! 

About the Program:

❖ Our program is designed to empower both adults and youth with the skills and insights required to make informed decisions about their finances. We recognize that financial liberty is a lifelong journey, and that's why we're offering tailored sessions for adults and youth at the same time. Each session will be presented by an experienced professional passionate about their area and assisting in any way. 

Workshop topics included: 

01/04 –Family & Finance: Breaking The Cycle

01/18 – Financial Empowerment – Banking, Budgets, and Boundaries

02/08 – The 5 C’s of Credit

02/22 – Investments 

03/07  –  Insurance

03/21 – Road to Homeownership

While you are learning these topics, your youth will be learning the same topics at their level of understanding in a separate session. 

For Adults:

❖ Our adult-focused sessions are dedicated to providing a comprehensive understanding of

various financial topics that impact grown-ups. From budgeting and saving to investing and retirement planning, we'll delve into the key components that contribute to financial stability. Guided by financial experts, you'll gain actionable insights and practical advice that can be applied to your financial journey immediately.

For Youths:

❖ Our youth-focused sessions offer an engaging and age-appropriate exploration of financial fundamentals. It's never too early to build a strong financial success foundation. Through interactive discussions and activities, we'll introduce concepts such as budgeting, saving, and the importance of wise financial decisions. These sessions are designed to inspire young minds and foster a sense of financial responsibility that will serve them well as they grow.

Our goal is to empower families to take control of their financial destinies, instilling confidence and knowledge that can be passed down through generations.
